More Data Flow Diagrams

NOTE: You will need to bring the Housewares Warehouse handout to this tutorial.

In week 3 we looked at the inventory system for Housewares Warehouse. In case you didn't get the handout describing the system it is available here. The notes contain a Context data flow diagram for the system. This diagram is incomplete. In this tutorial you are to:

  1. Construct a Level 0 data flow diagram (hint: you could base your processes around the major headings used in the handout to describe the system).
  2. Improve the Context diagram.
  3. Produce a lower level data flow diagram for the Update the Inventory Master File process.
