What I do
| I administer various UNIX computer systems across several La Trobe University Campuses. These include but are not limited to hopper, the Visual Arts server ringtail, the education server echidna, the Linux lab in the business building at Bendigo, and the CS&CE iMac lab (right next to the linux lab) and the student server redgum. |
I will be on leave from 17th January 2008 to 4th February 2008.

If you need a UNIX account
If you are an IT student or doing an IT subject and need access to redgum or the CS&CE iMac lab I need to know your student log-in name.If you need access to the CS&CE linux lab I need to know your student log-in name and your preferred password. If you don't wish to divulge that password you need to make an appointment to visit me at the computer services centre to personally enter your password.
If you are staff and want to place material on hopper
You can email dssg.servicedesk@latrobe.edu.au and request an account on hopper. Usually it doesn't take long for me to set your account up but you should still make sure you have access to hopper working before you need it.
UNIX queries
You can ring the service desk of the computer centre on 7722 (5444 7722 if you are off campus)Or you can email UNIX related queries to the service desk: dssg.servicedesk@latrobe.edu.au
